Meet the Dudes

One year ago…

We decided to embark on a year long journey to visit all the wineries on the Monticello Wine Trail. This we found was not as easy as we thought. We have visited all 33 wineries on the trail plus more that we discovered along the way.

Why do this, you might ask?

At the start of the journey, we did not have any idea what we were really doing, or what we expected. Along the way we discovered different wine styles, and lovely people we would not have met otherwise. This makes the reward even better than we would have imagined.

So why are we blogging our experience…?

• We want people to enjoy the wineries that Virginia has to offer!
• We have come to find that this is an experience that everyone should try.
• Leading others to wineries that they might not have known about!
• Showcase wineries that are among our top favorites.
